  I haven't been to Big League's since they moved to their new location (basically switched strip malls). I did not care for their old spot and the new one isn't much different; still dark and dirty-looking inside.  This time the ceiling was leaking though.
  
  Despite the lack of ambience, the food is pretty good and so is the service. Mike and I attended an auction here and ate at the bar. The bartender was friendly and attentive, and even though the place was packed solid, food still came in a timely manner.  I had the Weekender breakfast, typical toast-eggs-bacon-home fries combo (which I love). With the exception of the barely-margarined toast everything was good. Mike tried their fajitas and was pleasantly surprised.
  
  Prices are reasonable and they have lots of TVs to watch sports on, as well as some hockey memorabilia on the walls. I would eat here again if I found myself starving in Cole Harbour. :-D

  Sports bar with sports bar food. If not for the cold beer it wouldn't be worth stopping into.

  If you haven't yet, you gotta try their Hot chicken Caesar salad..

  We use to eat at BL's all the time but it has gone really down hill over the last few years. We drive to the other side of town just for pub food instead of eating here. Their wings are ok but the other items are horrible and service sucks. Flat draft beer, food makes you sick, priced way to high etc... Much better places to eat in town!!

  As far as Sports Bars go, this place is just OK. It was reccommended to me by a local friend as I was visiting and wanted a spot to watch the NFL season opener.
  
  TV coverage is very good as there were many screens visible from almost any angle. They are not the biggest screens so good eyesight may be needed.
  
  I sat at the bar and with three servers standing there thought I would get quick service. For as many times as they walked by me, not one looked up. I eventually interrupted and placed my order.
  
  Chicken wings were OK and served very quick. A little too quick if you ask me as it was less than 5 minutes which certainly suggests they weren't cooked fresh. Sauce was good, but nowhere near the hot that I ordered. I did not receive the extra bleu cheese that I ordered, and when I asked again, the server forgot again.
  
  The most surprising thing to me was that they called last call and closed up at half time, despite their posted hours of 2am. I had to head back to the hotel to watch the 2nd half.
  
  Again, an OK spot, but unless you are a local, don't have high expectations.
